In captivity, their life span is longer than that of those who live in natural environments they get proper care, a balanced diet, and proper medical treatment. Their life span is fifteen to twenty years as pets.

In the wild, their life span is seven to eight years because they do not get proper food, care, or medical treatment.

Respiratory Infection:
